Hi, beauties! Today I thought we’d explore a topic close to my heart and one that many of you also seem to be especially interested in, namely the concept of manifesting. We’ll discover the secrets of manifesting, what works and what doesn’t and explore some of the main principles behind the Law of Attraction. Are you ready to get started? (Check out our spell for career success) For many of us, life can feel like an uphill battle and despite our best efforts, we find ourselves exhausted and unsatisfied at the end of the day. We ask ourselves why our actions have, again, failed to produce the results we’d hoped for and feel slightly disillusion with life. Despite our best efforts, often things just don't seem to 'flow' as easily as we might like. If you can relate to any of this you’ve come to the right place. Together we’re going to discover how you can use the Law of Attraction to manifest the life you desire without leaving you feeling like you’ve been rolled over by a truck at the end of the day. You may have heard the expression that ‘everything is energy’ am I right? Or perhaps you’ve come across the famous quote by Nikola Tesla where he states that “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Learning how to manifest, simply put, means working together in harmony with, rather than in opposition to the energies of the universe in order to attract the things which you desire into your direct experience. Working with the Law of Attraction, which states that ‘that which is alike is drawn unto itself’, manifesting correctly involves tuning into the frequency of that which you desire in order to become like a magnet to it, thereby drawing more and more of it into your experience. This should be done in an easy manner without ‘trying too hard’ as this would directly contradict the vibration of ease and flow which we are looking to achieve. I know that we all have a tendency to devalue things which have not been attained through hard work and effort. Manifesting using the Law of Attraction should be joyful, fun and easy. If you feel like you're trying to hard to achieve a certain result, let it go and focus on something else for a while. In my experience, we tend to make things much harder than they need to be and manifesting does not need to be a complicated process. In fact, the ease and joy with which we can all experience the generosity of the universe is part of the reason why working with the Law of Attraction is so much fun! Remember: NOT trying is part of the formula. The last thing I would encourage is for anyone to attempt to manifest a desired outcome through hard work and efforting. I promise, after a while, the process of manifesting will become like second nature to you and you will look back at your previous struggle in wonder. (You’ll know when your there because you will start to feel really good and energy will begin to flow through your body in a more noticeable way) 2: Let it go. 3: Feel good as often and as intensely as you can. That’s it! The universe handles the rest. Period. If there’s anything else that you need to do in order to attract the manifestation into your experience you’ll feel it as an inspiration. I encourage you to follow your inspired thoughts as often as possible. Focus on the feeling of happiness as much as you can. Find time to appreciate the wonderful gifts the universe has already provided for you. Allow gratitude to wash over you like summer rain. Lets Elaborate on the Three Steps to Correctly Manifest How to Manifest Step #1: Focus Focus simply means knowing exactly what it is that you desire and then pointing your attention in its direction. You may want more money to flow into your experience but do you know the exact reason for why you want the money. Do you perhaps desire the sense of freedom that it might bring? Or you have a specific goal or occasion for which you would like the money? A dream car, a holiday, a kitchen renovation? Observe your own thoughts and direct them towards the object of your desire. Focus on how you would feel if you already had the new kitchen, car, or holiday. Imagine yourself opening the cupboards of your new kitchen, wiping down its magnificent granite surfaces and preparing delicious meals for your family and friends there. Do you feel good when you focus on these thoughts, can you feel as the energy begins to move within you? Pay attention to any negative thoughts that might creep in and gently bring your focus back to your desire. Picture yourself in your dream kitchen as if it were already yours. Imagine preparing food there, the feeling of it and the materials of the kitchen clearly in your mind's eye. Most of us have very sloppy focus and our thoughts are all over the place. We jump from one half-finished thought to the next, agonise over small irrelevant details and allow ourselves to spiral down negative thought patterns. Redirect! Focus! You are the master or mistress of your mind! Learn to hone your focus and become deliberate about the thoughts you think. The good news is that the more we practice the better we become at this. Talk positively to yourself, encourage yourself, tell yourself that you can and will achieve your goals! Learn to pivot when you feel yourself become consumed by negative thoughts. You don’t need any special tools, techniques or skills to learn to manifest. Start right now. Take 5 minutes for yourself and ask yourself ‘what do I really truly want’? Once you have the answer using the power of your mind imagine how it would feel if you already had the thing you wanted. Notice the way that negative thoughts come up and gently allow them to pass. Redirect your mind’s eye back to your goal. Do this over and over again, as often as you can and I'm certain you will begin to experience real changes in your life as the universe conspires to give you what you want. How to Manifest Step #2: Let It Go I mean LET IT GO! This is where you need to surrender, hands-off and TRUST that the universe has got your back. I cannot overemphasise the importance of this step. We are so conditioned that we need to 'do something' in order to make things happen that it's incredibly hard for most of us to surrender control and 'let it go'. When we doubt our ability to manifest our desires, when we surround ourselves with negative self-talk and when we second guess our own abilities we are not letting it go! Once our intention has been set, our goal visualised and we have a clear picture and feeling of what it is that we wish to manifest we need to STOP plotting and scheming about it. Don't obsess about it, don't track the time passed since you visualised, don't worry about it not happening. TRUST that you have done the work and that the universe is now working on your behalf. Let it go, SURRENDER and enjoy the business of going about your life. How to Manifest Step #3: Feel Good Wuuu, this is my favourite part! This is the part where you just do what feels good to you. Wanna go chill in the park? Do it! Feel like spending all of Sunday in bed with your favourite book? Go right ahead. What you want to do here is start listening for your inner voice of inspiration. The one that whispers to you 'go that way', 'do this', 'follow that sign'. Feeling good is all about INSPIRED ACTION. Not the action that you do because you HAVE TO but the action that you undertake because you WANT TO. Feeling good is all about allowing the abundance and energies of the universe to flow through you and with you. Even if you end up working until 2 am you'll find that you do so because you LOVE what you're doing. It becomes a pleasure, not a chore. To others, it might look like your ALWAYS working but to you, it will feel like PLAY. This is where you enter the FLOW STATE. A place of being where maximum creativity flows through you and you feel yourself operating at PEAK LEVEL. It is blissful. When you are in a state of enjoyment, in a state of JOY you allow the universe to work through you. This is the place where cracks appear in your conditioned mind and inspirations, ideas and visions provide you with the guidance to help manifest your desires. How cool is that! When you're feeling good, satisfied, happy, passionate, enthusiastic or inspired you're in sync with your highest self. How to Manifest: Additional Techniques and Tips to Turbo-Charge Your Practice The Importance of Knowing Exactly What You Want From Life Most people never really think about what they want from life. Work is just a job that needs to be done so that the bills can be paid, relationships are unfulfilling at best and 'home' is probably located where the rent is the cheapest. The list goes on and on. But somehow you feel a craving for more. The saying goes 'As the man thinketh, so he is'. A major key to manifesting is to ponder exactly what you want from life. You need to have a clear vision of what you want in order for the universe to fulfil it for you. Knowing what you want is key to successful manifesting An exercise on how to manifest: Take a piece of paper and write down your answers to the following questions: What is my deepest desire?What would I like to accomplish with my life?What would I like to accomplish in 1 year?Where would I like to be in 5 years?Where would I like to be in 20 years?What am I especially good at? Make sure that you look into all areas of your life: your relationships, your financial situation, your health, your family, your love life, your professional life, what you enjoy doing. Write down your goals and assign a priority to each from 1 - 5 with 1 being the highest priority. Now you have a clear list of goals for your life and your energy can begin to flow towards manifesting these goals. Understand also that you must take action to align with your goals. The universe will not reward you for sitting on your sofa. Make sure that you are taking effective action to allow the universe to work through you. Go out and socialise, learn, enrol in a class, attend a workshop, spend time in places where you are likely to meet the right people. Successful Manifestation Requires Consistency It's super important that you are absolutely consistent in your actions and that your daily practices align with your goals. Don't be discouraged if things don't happen straight away. Stay focused, believe in your own abilities to manifest change. Never fall into a pattern of thinking of yourself as a victim of fate. You have to have absolute faith that you have set things into motion even if they may not be visible yet. Find Your Unique Talents and Skills Most successful people have something in common, they are obsessed with what they do. In order to achieve the amount of focus and clarity required to align with your goals you need to feel excited and yes, a little bit obsessed with what you do. If you are unsure what your unique talents or skills are I suggest you complete the following exercise: Discovering Your Unique Talents and Skills Take a piece of paper and answer the following questions: What toys did you love to play with as a child?As a child, what were you most interested in?What sort of games did you enjoy playing the most with your friends?What presents did you wish to receive from your parents for birthdays and Christmas?What did you dream about becoming when you were 'grown-up'? What games did you enjoy the most as a child? This can provide clues about where your unique talents and interest lie. Find The Courage To Step Outside Of Normality Once you have discovered what your unique talents and skills are, make a commitment to follow these gifts. Don't let anybody tell you what to do or dissuade you from taking action to engage with your gifts. Don't let anybody tell you that your dreams are silly, that you'll never achieve them or that you should be an 'adult' and get back to the real world. It takes courage to follow our dreams and there are no guarantees but when we decide to take the plunge so to speak and to align with our highest purpose, the universe suddenly begins to conspire with us. Keep A Diary Keeping a diary is one of the most powerful ways of keeping track of your progress. Make sure that you take notes throughout the day, noting synchronicities that occur, jotting down ideas and inspirations that come to you and making notes of what works and what doesn't. Take the time to reflect on your notes weekly and contemplate where you should consider putting more of your energy and attention for the following week. Make A Vision Board Humans are visual creatures and filling a vision board with pictures that excite and inspire you can be an excellent way of motivating you. Fill the board with images that inspire you and fill you with a feeling of joy and abundance when you look at them. Take the time to gaze at your vision board daily and visualise yourself living the life and partaking in the activities depicted in the images. I have been absolutely amazed on looking over some of my old vision boards how many of the things that I had pictured had come to pass without me even really noticing it.
